He's getting more and more rolls and his cheeks are so pinchable...could he possibly be a contender for the Fattest Baby Award?? Nothing would make me more proud! Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Huh??!!

Aren't they suppose to be older than 3 weeks??? I know they grow up fast, but this is a little too fast for me! I choose not to believe it!

Growing like a weed...

Yesterday was Kody's two week check-up. He weighed in at a whopping 8lbs even and had grown to 20 1/2 inches. I just can't hardly believe how fast they grow. We do have to take him up to Primary Children's to have them do an ultrasound on his left hip. Dr. Bennett said he felt a little to much movement in his hip, but we shouldn't worry to much about it. They have to make sure the socket isn't growing flat. Other than that, he looks great!

5 years down...Forever to go!

Happy Anniversary Love! It seems like we've been married for so much longer than 5 years. It's hard to remember life without you by my side. We've grown so much together. Now we have two little boys who we both love beyond words! Thank you for always listening to me, even if it's not the ideal time of day! There is no better way to spend eternity than with my best friend. I LOVE YOU!

A Walking Pharmacy...

These past several days I spent up in Honeyville at my parents house. My mom and Jess had come down on Thursday for Jess to interview for a job. That evening I started to feel rather achy...the kind where your bones just hurt. By the middle of the night I had a horrible fever accompanied by the horrible chills. Why is that when you can feel the heat radiating from your body...you're freezing cold??!! I spent Friday in fleece pajamas wrapped up in a blanket. Jed and my mom decided it would be best if I went home with her. After a blessing, dr.'s visit and two separate antibiotics, I'm feeling much better. My mom had "three" babies to take care of...Kody, Lucas & Me!! She's amazing. I don't know how I'll ever repay her...although I am sending her a check for the money I owe. In my state of deliriousness, I forgot to take my purse home!! Lucas kept entertained by Disney & helping Grandpa, whether he needed it or not!!

We met up with Jed in Ogden so he could bring me back today. We sure missed him and he missed us, but I know he was happy that he didn't have to take care of all three of us!!

Lucas absolutely loves to ride my dad's 20-some-odd-year-old horse "Vic". He's addicted to his cowboy hat and Nappy's boots, which are much to big for him. Grandpa found him some chaps and he thought he was pretty darn cool. I personally think he's the cutest little cowboy ever!!

One Week Old

First "real" bath...his cord fell off this morning.



Kody is a week old. I can't believe how fast time flies! He is such a good baby and we are enjoying every minute. I'm feeling really good, other than the nights are just too short!

My mom came and stayed a week with us. Which, in my opinion, was way to short!! I'm sure she was ready to go home though. She was wonderful to help out with Lucas and clean my house. I don't know what I would do with out her...she's the best! Thanks Mom!! I love you!

Jed's parents are coming tonight for a couple of days. Lucas is loving all the attention. Not quite sure what he's going to do when it's just me, him & Kody!! Jed is also taking off the next couple of days and I'm super excited to have him home.
