He did it...

Jed GRADUATED yesterday. It made for pretty busy day, but it was worth it. Jed's parents and my mom were able to be here for it. It almost feels like a dream. I'm so proud of him though. He worked really hard for this. Hopefully now Lucas and I will get to see him more!! After graduation we took his parents out to see the model home we are building and the dirt that we now own!! Then we went back to the motel they were staying and went swimming. Lucas loved it. He floated around in his little blow up tube.

Okay... since the weather has had its ups and downs, we have to take advantage of every minute we can get outside. Yesterday I decided to take the camera and take pictures of Lucas. Here are just a few of them. You'll have to scroll down to the second post to see the rest of them. They didn't turn out too bad. He hates to have his feet touch the grass so it makes it pretty funny to watch him. Especially because the grass is quite long right now. Lucas thought he was pretty cool with his backpack on . He's so funny.
Last night was went to dinner with Shane and Talease (Jed's sister) to P.F. Changs. It's one of our favorite places to eat. They are leaving for California within the next couple of weeks. They'll be gone for the summer. It's fun to see them, we sure love them. We hope they have a great time in California. Jed's parents are coming tomorrow for his graduation on Friday. We are excited to see them.

2 days and counting...

Jed has finals today and tomorrow and then he is officially done!!! He'll graduate this Friday. We are so excited. He just told me last week that he finally could see a light at the end of the tunnel. He's been so busy with papers that he thought this day would never come.
On Saturday we finalized all of the options for the home we are building in Spanish Fork. I hope we remembered everything. If not, oh well because it costs to much money to do a change order. Hopefully they'll be able to give us some kind of time frame in the next little bit.
We had an offer on our home this weekend. We counter-offered back to them. We'll see if they accept either today or tomorrow. They have written into the agreement that they would rent back to us, which would be really nice. It makes me sad to sale, but we don't really want the hassel of renting it out.
We has a BBQ with some friends yesterday. It was fun to hang out with them again. We haven't really done anything for along time. We've all been so busy, but with summer right around the corner, I think we'll be doing a lot more!!
Sorry I don't have any pictures to post today. I need to take some. I forgot to recharge the batteries so my camera is dead.

This year we spent Easter in St. George with Jed's family. It was a lot of fun. We went out to the family ranch in Arizona. The first part of the day was a little bit chilly, but it ended up being really nice. All of the cousins hunted for easter eggs, and of course, Lucas found his share. Jed's aunt and uncle are the foster parents to the little girl in the picture above. Her name is Kenna and she's only a week older than Lucas. They hope to adopt her and we definetly want them too. She's adorable. It was fun to hang out with all the family. Lucas loves to spend time with his Grandma & Grandpa and we do too.

Crazy Life...

Once we decided to build a home, our lives have been come even more crazier. Jed has only 17 more days till he graduates, but has been bombarded with papers. He's a little stress out. I was doing okay until we put our home up for sale. The realtor called yesterday at 10:45 and wanted to show the home at 11:00. Of course I panicked and needless to say, they didn't come! That was okay though...I'm not sure I'm ready to sell. We've been cleaning out closets and trying to get the house ready. The photographer came today and took pictures of the outside and inside. Hopefully they won't be too bad. We have our final appointment for our new home on April 22nd. We have to have everything picked out. It's a little bit nerve racking, but I'm sure it will all work out. I'm going to go up there one more time before we finalize just so I can be sure of the colors, etc. I'm adding some pictures of Lucas from this weekend. Now that we are moving, we finally get to use the swing set that's in our backyard. He loves it. I also tried to get a picture with him since I'm usually the one behind the camera. As you can see, he didn't want to show his face!!!

This past week we got to watch Max Parry for a couple of hours. It was so much fun to have him. He'll turn one in June. He's the son of Jordan and Ashlee Parry. Ashlee is actually Jed's first cousin. They live in Saratoga Springs. We love having them down here. He's the closest cousin Lucas has right now. We hope one day he has some more cousins!!
On Sunday after General Conference we decided to take Lucas on his first actual walk with out a stroller. He did pretty well. He pushed his little walker around the block. Notice his cute little sunglasses. He loves to wear them. He would get side tracked a lot of the time, but it was still fun to see him do it and he thought he was pretty big!

What a week this has turned into. We've been looking at building a new home. Last Saturday after we got back from Tawnya and Landon's Holden reception, we went looking at another subdivision. This one is in Spanish Fork. We really like them and by the time we left we had signed papers to build. Of course that is all dependent on what the loan guy has to say! We are extremely excited though. We are completely out of room in the one we are in. We hope everything works out.
Lucas has been a little under the weather lately. We can't get him to shake this cold that he has. I've tried every medication under the sun. Hopefully he'll start to feel better soon. He's not always his happy self when he's sick. He's been so healthy for the last month that I almost forgot what it was like when he's sick!

Landon and Tawnya were married on Saturday. It turned out to be great weather at the temple! We were worried and bought umbrella's, but didn't have to use them!! :) The wedding was very nice. We are extremely happy for them. The reception was a lot of fun. It did start hailing right before the reception, but stopped so that everyone could come! It was great to see and hang out with family.

Well...it's been a few days, so I thought I would do a little update on our lives. Last Friday my sister went through the temple. It was a very nice. She was able to attend a wedding the next day for Landon's sister. She has only 10 days left for her own wedding. It's coming awfully quick. On Saturday we went to the new Joseph Smith movie in Salt Lake. It was incredible. If you go, you must take a handful of tissues. All the movies that they have showed have been good, but this one was my favorite. Lucas was even good for the most part!! On our way back, we stopped to look at homes. We found a little subdivision here in Provo that has some new homes going in. We really liked them. We are going to look around for others too.
I had to teach Young Women's on Sunday. It was the first time I've had to teach in a long time. Being the secretary, you don't have to teach very often. We also had our family home evening that night with another couple and Tawnya and Landon. Jed gave an excellent lesson. Our friends, Chad and Alicia, had their little boy, Carter about a week and a half ago. He's has tons of black hair and is quite adorable.
I started my new job and I'm really liking it. It's very convienent to be working at home. Lucas is so much fun to be home with. He's really good at tearing the house apart!

Cowboy Up...

I don't really have a lot to write about today, but here is a couple pictures of our cute little cowboy. He loves that little horse he's on. He rocks sideways as it sings. My parents & my sister Nappy (Jessica) came today. We'll be going to the temple in a couple of hours.
